Krist Mort. Born 1991 in Salzburg, Austria
Autodidact, working as an artist practicing analog photography and traditional darkroom printing.

„The artwork of Krist Mort is characterized by a constant interaction of contradiction and contrast. Light cutting through shadow, fragility intertwined with brutality, life and death – all of these are continued themes in each of her photographs. The human body, its way of expression and its mortality, is another important and reocurring topic of Krist Mort’s work, specifically portrayed in her book Tera. Her art was exhibited in Los Angeles, Chicago, Vienna and Rotterdam and has been featured in magazines alongside the works of Sally Mann or Juergen Teller.“
